Been thinking a lot (very quitely) about my new tank and have started to get a few things together.

One thing I have decided is that it's going to be a very steady project as it looks as though it's going to be expensive !!

I have decided to go for a 54 x 18 x 24 which will hold 382L with a sump of 42 x 24 x 20 which will easily give me a system of over 400l.

I'm getting my tank from David at fistafiltration and he's kindly drawn me a plan



I've got to have a covered tank due to the cat but it will also help with evaporation.

I'm definatly going to be using LEDS to light it, im just not sure which ones yet, i'm hoping to make the tank as economical as possible and will be reserching low voltage pumps etc etc, it might cost me more in the short term but im hoping it will help keep running costs down.
