Rehoming your fry

Just wondering what you guys do when it's time to rehome your guppy, platy, swortail and molly fry?

Can you sell them? Or are they given away? Will your LFS give you store credit for them etc?

What are your experiences to date?

I used to give them to my LFS free, that was four years ago. Before that I used to feed my breeding angels on them.

My lfs takes them for free and occasionally i might get a fish or 2 free ;)

My experience of rehoming fry has been very similar to Dan's. Two lfs's are happy to take my platies but won't give cash/store credit - they are willing to chuck in an extra fish (or two!) when I buy any though.

It was too much hassle trying to rehome them via adverts so I don't even attempt to anymore.

how big are they when you give them to the LFS?
