as your tank is only little, i would go parhaps with a couple of cory cats or otocinclius.

what would be lovely in your tank would be pygmy cories. they are lovely.
or as Bruce said otos. I have a shoal of 6, they are a bit dwarfed in my tank tbh but I bought them for a 60 litre originally. They are teeny and have never grown.

If you can find them, there are a lot of dwarf Aspidoras that are really nice fish and do stay at the bottom of the tank most the time as corys do, Ottos are nice but spend most there time stuck on the glass/plants and generally eat algea from your tank, many starve very quickly once the tanks cleared so mature tanks are best with these guys, and i love the pygmy corys but mine spent more time swimming round mid water than at the bottom which is from what i read quite common. Just remember cory cats, aspi's etc are social and should be kept in groups of the same species. Good luck i'm sure you'll find something just right for you and your tank:)

The clown loach are loverly fish but again are social so you would need a few and i'm afraid they get very very very big, would give them a miss, or buy a 5ft tank lol

its snails eggs. alway make sure you wash plants before you put them in to get rid of any. Your clown loaches will probably eat them though so I wouldnt worry too much.

I can't remember how big you said your tank is but I've got a feeling that it's not big enough for clown loaches. Are you planning on an upgrade anytime soon? If not it might be worth seeing if the shop will exchange them for something more suitable? They really can get very large.

dito would exchange if you could m8, clowns can get to 16" in the wild, a lot less in an aquarium but still get to 9" or so. The fish shop really should have made you aware when you got them, But not to worry its nothing that can not be sorted out sure when you explain to the fish shop they will be happy to exchange for something better suited to your tank size, Good luck

The clown loach will eat the snail eggs but will get too big and are too active for your tanks. They arent really catfish asn such either :S

Its not fair on the fish though being stuck in a tank which is too small for them. :S. Plus it will put a strain on your bio-load. Just things to consider.
