3 of my mushrooms are enormous. I don't fancy risking fragging them but I was wondering, if they get too big they're not going to start eating fish or anything silly like that are they? Or do they not do evil things like that?

as far as i know the most evil thing they do is grow over smaller corals next to them ?

Depends what sort of mushrooms they are Sam! I've read somewhere about mushrooms that can devour slow moving fish that decide to have a sleep in them!

But I'm sure yours will be fine! Do they curl up inwards, like closing up?

Send them to me, I'll frag them for you! I can't promise I won't lose them, or keep them though!

they're bloomin massive i know that and 2 of them are facing up making like cup shapes. Thats why I was worried they could eat fish cos they are making themselves into trap shapes.

And no nobodys having me mushies, I love my mushies. Even if one of em was just a freebie!

Why don't you frag them, and send me a 1/4 of each one? Just to check what they are of course?!

Killing mushrooms is near on impossible! It's a lot easier to lose them!

Ok, well if you change your mind.....

noooooooo, i'm scared. I know how to do it in theory but then I can change a tyre in theory or put a duvet on a king size bed but I'm not going to attempt them for real either!

Check out lilDan's mushroom fragging thread! I't so easy! and think how satisfied you will feel when you have 4 of each that aren't big enough to eat your fish!

these are the mushies in question. I was looking at a huge elephant ear in the lfs today and it looked like a real beast.
