Sorry to hear that Nick, it really sucks :(
could you not get a big extension ,with ten or so plug sockets on, ive got a surge protector one with 12 sockets on, then plug them all into that and run them all through your ATC ??
If you look on fleebay you can buy them wired with 4 sockets on so im sure you can do it !
Only problem you would have is it would only take the reading from one tank, and im not sure if you can add any more probes !

a thing that switches the heaters on or off and some thing like fans depending what you set it to, eg if you want it at 26 and its at 27 the fans will come on, and if its at 25 the heaters will come on :)

Thanks Pete :D Didn't even realise something like that existed, very clever idea though

Underworld usually produce very good heaters however I have found a couple of defective units, I managed to send them back and obtained a refund and luckily they were being used in aquariums with no livestock.
According to my sources the Newatt heaters sometimes come with inaccurate sensors, so it's recommended that you set the temperature to around one degree less of the desired tank temperature. For example if you want a temperature of 27 degrees C then the recommendation is to set the heater at 26 degrees. Despite this there are other factors to take into consideration, such as the ambient room temperature and the tank lighting.
