Hi all,
I bought this soft coral over a month ago now, and was wondering what it is?!
When I bought it it looked like:

And now it looks like:

It's rapidly growing and am thinkin gif it gets much bigger I may have to frag it to reduce it's size, but would like to know what I'm dealing with before I start cutting it up!
Thanks
Dan

Definiteley a medusa coral mate (alcyoniidae)!
Sweet looking Softy there Dan, similar to my Colt coral. just yours is more branched at the top with a defined trunk where as mine is more branching from the base

It's pretty much that colour! Maybe a little lighter or pinker in real life!
I'm still amazed how much it changed from when I first bought it to now. I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but when I bought it it was sort of stubby and really bushey, but now it's really stretched out.
